CFB NATTY - ODDS & Betting

The Georgia Bulldogs (#3) are scheduled to take on the Alabama Crimson Tide (#1) on 1-10-2022 as planned, at 8:00 PM EST. UGA fell to the Crimson Tide 41-24 on December 4th in the SEC Championship game where the Bulldogs were favored by 6 points. The latest spread for the National Championship game is UGA -2, which changed from UGA -3 going into the weekend. This half-point is no small margin, considering the game could easily be won or lost by either team from a field goal. The o/u is set for 52.5 points, which has changed from 52 over the weekend, and could change again before kickoff.

Keep in mind, Georgia's Head Coach, Kirby Smart has yet to beat Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide. The UGA coach is 0-3 against Saban, and we can assume the Alabama Crimson Tide is a team that's at the top of his hit list. Both Nick Saban and Kirby Smart have had the luxury to coach some of the most prominent teams in College Football over the years, making this SEC rematch in the Natty all but unlikely. Georgia fans need to look out for Stetson Bennett to target running back James cook and freshman All-American TE Brock Bowers, as they will need to be dominant through the air to penetrate the Alabama defense. You just can't run against this Alabama defense, it's been seen time and time again. On the other side, Bryce Young has a slew of weapons to choose from to attack the UGA defense, with Jameson Williams through the air, and Brian Robinson Jr. on the ground.

Georgia will do their best to test the abilities of Alabama, and we all know it's quite difficult to beat a team twice in the same year, but this will truly be a testament of their will and grit. The bookies sure believe in the Bulldogs' abilities to shock the world, and they might see something we don't see. What we have to acknowledge though, is that Alabama dominated the Bulldogs in their meeting on December 4. We did see dominance in the UGA v. Michigan CFP Semis game, but can we compare apples to oranges? You decide. Stay tuned to our social media outlets for information and predictions regarding the CFP Natty.
